Community involvement contributes greatly to the success of the program.
How is the currency spent?
- At weekly "school assembly" auctions
- At Lifeskills' shops such as the stationery shop, yabby farm, bead shop, technology shop and craft shop
- At school market days (student generated products are sold for the school's own currency)
- At inter school trade fairs (products are sold for an agreed school currency at an agreed exchange rate)
- At school technology quests ( components such as motors, pulleys, globes are sold for school currency)
- At inter school technology quests (eg:water feature competition, battery powered grand prix cars)
- By investing it in the Lifeskills' bank for a monthly interest payment
