• Communication between groups – set up email communication system
• Smaller design briefs
• Give students a greater say in developing design briefs
• Explicit roles for various teams
• More time
• Greater care with group dynamics
• Group challenge activities to foster teamwork
• Balanced the project with other roles in the school
• Clear timeline
• Set realistic goals
• Identified better technological resources and support
• Involved adults/parents/community members to facilitate group projects
