Creating a progression of learning across the middle years (St 3 to St 4)
- We mapped the Stage 3 outcomes and the Stage 4 outcomes in order to find the links.
- We (the primary and the secondary teacher) had to plan together. We had to create time to sit down and talk.
- We looked at units of work that already exist and we made sure that we met the requirements of the school's scope and sequence.
- We learnt a lot about each others syllabuses – we identified links and considered how to build a continuum.
